What is Banner Hosting?
Banner Hosting is a new and unique service provided by Animation.com to enable users to display and update their banners immediately on any website they choose.
To take advantage of this service, there are 3 simple steps:
1 - Purchase an iHook Package (it starts at $50.00 for 25,000 impressions, or just $2.00 CPM!)
2 - Attach (or "Hook") any number of banners from your Portfolio to your iHook by clicking on the iHook button next to a Banner in your Portfolio
3 - Insert the iHook Tag in any number of websites you want.
Voilà! Your banners will appear on the websites you want and the next time you update your banners, all those websites will automatically be updated!

Usage examples
1 - LiveBanner™ on your Website.
- Place an iHook on your homepage,
- Create an animated banner for a special discount during the upcoming week-end,
- Hook the banner to your iHook,
- Change your discount price at any time by updating your banner,
- Your website is immediately updated. There's no file to download or upload.
2 - LiveBanner™ on your eBay Item Description Page.
- Place an iHook in your eBay Item Description,
- Create an animated banner with a new message for your bidders,
- Hook the banner to your iHook,
- Change your message at any time by updating your banner,
- Your eBay Item Description Page is immediately updated, instead of using the standard eBay's cumbersome mechanism to modify or add to your Item Description Page.
3 - Dynamic Product Promotion for your Network of Affiliates.
- Ask each of your Affiliates to place an iHook in their homepage,
- Create an animated banner promoting a product for a week,
- Hook the banner to your iHook,
- Update your banner to promote another product after a week,
- All of your Affiliate websites are automatically updated for the new promotion. Your Affiliates will not have to do anything to benefit from this update.

What Banner Hosting is not
Banner Hosting is not a banner exchange program which provides you with free impressions. It enables you to manage the impressions you have on certain website in a very flexible and powerful way, particularly by enabling you to do just-in-time modifications to your banners (it is the LiveBanner Feature).
Banner Hosting is not an advertising network where you buy impressions on a variety of websites. It only works on websites who have agreed to place your iHooks on their pages.
How do I activate my Banner Hosting Service?
Banner Hosting is a service offered by Animation.com when you purchase one or more iHooks. Each registered user who has purchased at least one banner is eligible for one free iHook, and is therefore automatically eligible for Banner Hosting.
Each time it is invoked, the iHook displays another banner selected from the set of banners "hooked" to it. Each iHook has a maximum number of impressions it can serve per year. When that number is depleted, you can purchase a refill to continue the service. A depleted iHook will serve default service banners from Animation.com. You can remove depleted iHooks from the webpages anytime you want.
You can purchase iHooks individually or you can purchase iHook Bundles which are sets of iHooks sharing a common maximum number of impressions for an overall lower unit price per iHook and per impression.

How long will my iHook work?
An iHook is valid for one full year starting from the day of purchase, or until the maximum number of impressions purchased with the iHook is depleted, whichever comes first.
An obsolete or depleted iHook will then display service banners from Animation.com, until it is removed from the webpages where it appears.
A depleted iHook can be refilled by purchasing a Refill or an iHook Bundle. All of the banners associated with a depleted iHook will become live again as soon as the iHook is refilled.
Can I use Buttons with my iHook?
Yes, iHooks can in fact handle any animation created on Animation.com: Banners, Buttons, Headliners, Business Cards, etc...
You can specify whether your iHook accepts all sizes or is limited to certain sizes.What are the benefits of Banner Hosting?
